Taxonomic Notes: In Arroyo S, Targino M, Rueda-Solano LA, Daza JM & Grant T. 2022. A new genus of terraranas (Anura: Brachycephaloidea) from northern South America, with a systematic review of Tachiramantis. Systematics and Biodiversity. 20:1, 2123865, they created a new genus Serranobatrachus, sister to Tachiramantis, for the following former Pristimantis sp: carmelitae, cristinae, delicatus, insignitus, megalops, ruthveni, and sanctaemartae.
