Description
A member of the Cochranella granulosa group with the following combination of characters: 1) vomerine dentition present, 2) bones pale green in life, 3) colorin life is pale green with darker areas along with black and white spots dorsally, 4) snout rounded when viewed dorsally, when viewed laterally the lower jaw is straight and uppoer jaw is sloped from eye to upper lip anteroventrally, 5) dorsal skin is granular with whitish warts, 6) outside border of hand, forearm, and tarsal region with stiff fold, 7) humeral spine absent Adults are small, 25.5mm SVL for females and 20-24.1mm SVL for males; head width equal to body width, but wider than long (head width is 33.6-38.5% SVL). Nostril anterior portion of eye approximately 48.1-77.8% diameter of eye. Eyes small and oriented anterolaterally at 45º; when hind limb is adpressed anteriorly the ankle reaches an intermediate position between the posterior end of the eye and the tip of the snout. When arms adpressed posteriorly and hind limbs adpressed anteriorly, the knees and elbows overlap. Skin dorsally granular with small warts with a uniform distribution.

Known from the western flank of the Cordillera Oriental of Colombia in the departments of Cundinamarca, counties of Albán and Sasaima, Santander, counties of Charalá and Tona at elevations between 1630 to 2060m.

Life History, Abundance, Activity, and Special Behaviors
Sexually dimorphic in size, female larger than male. The only female known (the holotype) was found on leaves approximately 10m from a break in the forest. Eggs are pale green.
