Description
Craugastor cyanochthebius is a member of the Craugastor spatulatus subgroup of the C. alfredi group. The SVL for 5 adult male paratypes ranged from 25.1-27.3 mm, while the SVL for the one adult female paratype was 39.8 mm. It has a broad head that is similar in length and width. It has a distinct tympanum with a moderately developed supratympanic fold. The smooth to finely shagreen dorsal surface skin has a few large granules.
