Taxonomic Notes: Ospina-Sarria et al. (2015) described the species Craugastor metriosistus, which they treat as part of the C. fitzingeri group. Because C. fitzingeri is part of the subgenus Craugastor, other members of the C. fitzingeri group are also, by implication, part of that subgenus. This applies to C. metriosistus as well as to a second unallocated member of the C. fitzingeri group, C. chingopetaca. |
