Description
This species is distinguished from others in its genus by a continuous black streak from its eye to its groin. Females of this species are about 20mm SVL in size while the males range from 17-19 mm. This species lacks webbing on the feet (Inger & Stuebing, 1997).

Adult L. serasanae are found in primary forest near streams up to 350m elevation in Indonesia, Malaysia, Pulo Serasan in the Bungaran Islands, and Borneo (southeastern Sarawak).

Life History, Abundance, Activity, and Special Behaviors
L. serasanae breeds in small, clear, and rocky streams. Outside the breeding season, this species may be difficult to find.

Threatened due to ongoing habitat loss and alteration.
