Comments
Nomen dubium. The taxonomic validity of Hyperolius acuticephalus is questionable. This species is only known from the type specimen and it has not been treated in the literature since its description (Ahl 1931). In addition, the locality appears to be untraceable ("Ngoto, Lobajegebiet" from the Central African Republic, Ahl 1931).
