This species is only known from the type locality: north end of the town of Vilhena, km 16, 12 43' S, 60 07'W, state of Rondonia, Brazil (Heyer and Crombie, 2005).
Habitat and Ecology
Leptodactylus lauramiriamae is known only from a single Cerrado enclave in a predominantly Amazonian rainforest landscape. Individuals of the species were found under trash within the cerrado habitat (Heyer and Crombie, 2005).
