Range Description

This species is known only from the type locality, Yarang, in Medog County, Xizang Autonomous Region, China, at 767m asl.

Habitat and Ecology

It is known from a large stream and the surrounding rocks, and is presumed to breed by larval development.


There is no information available on the population status of this species.

Major Threats

The main threat to this species is habitat loss and degradation due to smallholder farming.

Conservation Actions

Its sole known locality is within Yaluzangbudaxiagu National Nature Reserve.
