Notes Rana aurora (aurora) calling from a shallow drainage overflow in February in Lewis County, Washington, during the afternoon. The frogs were calling from underwater, producing a very faint sound that was recorded from the air (above the water.)

Sunny skies. Frogs were in a flooded roadside ditch near a creek on the edge of a large agricultural field. Two large egg masses were present in the ditch. Recording equipment: Telinga Stereo DAT Pro6 parabolic microphone to Sound Devices 722 recorder at 44.1 kHz/24 bit sampling rate
