Range Description

This species is known only from the imprecise type locality of Rio Pandeiros, in north-west Minas Gerais State, Brazil.

Habitat and Ecology

The locality where the specimens were collected is unknown, and no information about the species' habitat is available. It is presumed to be an aquatic species, and to be viviparous.

There is no information on its population status, and only three specimens are known.
