Description
A rather large, slender Leptopelis (males 34–43 mm, females 56 mm) from the Eastern Arc Mountains, Tanzania, with extensive webbing and a small tympanum. Eyes in life bright red. Dorsum in males grey to brown or olive green with a conspicuous pattern in yellowish, generally forming irregular transverse bands, which are also present on the femur. Females have a uniform olive-green dorsum. Throat in males white, orange in females. Flanks, ventral sides of limbs and toes yellow-orange. Ventrum whitish.

The red eyes are diagnostic. In spite of the rather dull description of the dorsal colours, L. parkeri is probably the prettiest of the four strikingly coloured Leptopelis from the Eastern Arc Forests.
