Description
Dorsum dark brown with three light stripes confluent on the snout. The brown dorsal bands are diffuse, not well-delimited as in the other members of the A. fulvovittatus group.

This form was described as a subspecies of a member of the fulvovittatus group, but since the taxonomy of this group is so unsettled and the present form is rather aberrant it is best kept separate.

Comments
May be synonymous with Afrixalus "quadrivittatus", sensu Pickersgill (2007), who treated A. "quadrivittatus" as an assortment of species not assignable to either Afrixalus fulvovittatus or Afrixalus vittiger.
