AmphibiaWeb Songs

AmphibiaWeb's friend, The Wiggly Tendrils, wrote a catchy song just to commemorate the 7000th known amphibian species in July 2012. So catchy, that the creative minds at the California Academy of Sciences set the song to video. This music video was produced by the California Academy of Sciences and Grant Inouye. Another milestone and another song to celebrate the 200th described caecilian species, Caecilian Cotillion. Tap your toes to this animated short by Ex'pression College (Emeryville, California) students.

Our slideshow highlights some of the caecilian species the song commemorates set to their 'cotillion'.

The brilliant mind behind the Wiggly Tendrils is Conor Loughridge. Go find him on Bandcamp. Go listen to his songs. Thanks to Conor, you can download the AmphibiaWeb songs and take it with you!
