Found along the coast of New South Wales, from mid-eastern New South Wales to the border of Victoria and into coastal East Gippsland, Victoria. The extent of occurrence of the species is approximately 100000 km2

Life History, Abundance, Activity, and Special Behaviors
Found in dry forest, woodlands, shrublands and grasslands in open and disturbed areas. Commonly found near water, but can be found in dry depressions that flood in winter and spring. Males call in spring and summer from the ground or in litter along the water's edge. Eggs are are small and tadpoles are aquatic.

Trends and Threats
Taxanomic problems. Unknown range and status. Population size and trends unknown.

Threats
Development around the central coast of New South Wales.

Conservation Measures
None in place.
