Confined to coastal East Gippsland in Victoria and into New South Wales. The extent of occurrence of the species is approximately 15800 km2

Life History, Abundance, Activity, and Special Behaviors
Found in dry forest, woodlands, shrublands and grasslands in open and disturbed areas. Most common near water but can be found in dry depressions that flood in winter or spring. Males call in spring and summer from the pond edge or from low vegetation overhanging the water. Eggs and tadpoles are unknown.

Taxanomic problems. Uncertain range and status. Population size and trends unknown.
