The bleating calls of Canyon Tree Frogs (Hyla arenicolor) are heard along with the faint chuckling calls of Relict Leopard Frogs (Rana onca) in the background. Frogs call in a narrow canyon at approximately 10 PM. Air temperature was 19.8 degrees Celsius, winds were less than 2kmph, cloud cover was 0%, and the water temperature was 5 degrees Celsius; Recordings were made using Sennheiser MKH30 and MKH40 microphones recording in an MS pattern to a Sound Devices 722 recorder; Sampling rate was 24 bit/44.1 kHz |
