Range Description

This species is known only from one locality on Mount Hunstein, Papua New Guinea, at 1,000m asl.

Habitat and Ecology

It was found in shrubs in closed-canopy rainforest, and this species is presumed to breed by direct development.


It is known from only a single specimen.

Population Trend


Major Threats

There are no known threat to it, and the type locality is probably safe from human disturbance for the time being.

The distribution, habitat requirements and population status of this species needs to be determined. It is not known from any protected areas.
