This species has been recorded from Cerro Tacarcuna and Cerro Mali in the eastern cordillera in the south-east of Darién Province, south-eastern Panama. Its altitudinal range is 1,450-1,630 m asl. Its presence in Columbia is uncertain.
Habitat and Ecology
It inhabits humid montane forest, and presumably breeds by direct development.
There is no information available on the population status of this species. There is no recent information on this species, presumably due to lack of herpetological work within its range.
The major threats to this species are unknown.
It has been recorded from Parque Nacional Darién.
