Range Description

This species is known only from Jiulong County in southern Sichuan Province, China, from 3,120-3,750m asl. It might occur more widely.

Habitat and Ecology

It inhabits seepages, marshy pools and the surrounding areas in high mountains, and breeds in streams.

Population

It is found in only one location, where the population is currently stable, although very small.
