Description
A small Hyperolius (males 19–22 mm) from bushland localities in coastal Cameroun. Dorsum and upper surfaces of limbs with variously sized warts. Dorsum grey or whitish with an hour-glass pattern of somewhat varying shape in darker brown or blackish. There is a light area on the snout, one in the sacral region and a pair of broad dorsolateral bands, sometimes confluent. Ventrum in life translucent greenish or bluish. Feet and hands with the same colour. Gular flap very large. Pupil horizontal. No different phases or morphs nor different pattern between the sexes.

The tadpoles are small, up to 30 mm in length with a tooth formula of 1/3.

Life History, Abundance, Activity, and Special Behaviors
The males call from isolated positions and do not form breeding aggregations. The voice is a brief click with a metallic sound and a frequency-intensity maximum at 4500 cps. The clicks are emitted at long intervals.

A batch of about a hundred eggs are placed 4–5 metres above water. They are a very pale green in a transparent jelly.
