Description Color: Grayish dorsum, with dark spots, sometimes with reddish and orange suffusion, a light narrow middorsal line is often present. Ventrum white. During the breeding season, the male gular region is black. Tadpole: Medium sized tadpole, Khan (1991a, 1996a) finds no apparent morphological difference from that of Limnonectes limnocharis.
