Plethodon cylindraceus (Harlan, 1825)

8,8 cm SVL. Grande taille, gorge claire avec de grandes taches dorsales blanches. Flancs modérément recouverts de blanc. Des Blue Ridge et du Piémont de Virginie et Caroline du Nord vers l’ouest jusqu’a la French Broad River et vers le sud jusqu’au Piémont nord de Caroline du Sud. Egalement dans la province physiographique de Valley and Ridge dans l’ouest de la Virginie et dans l’extrême est de la Virginie Occidentale, ainsi que dans une petite partie de la plaine côtière de l’est de la Virginie. Hybrides avec P. glutinosus connus du Maryland, au nord du Potomac. (Nei D = 0,24 entre P. cylindraceus et glutinosus). 198 443 km2. LC.
