This species occurs in the high mountains of central Papua, Indonesia, at 2,000-2,800m asl.
Habitat and Ecology
It is found only in montane forest, and presumably breeds by direct development.
There is no information on the population status of this species.
There are no known threats to this species, which occurs in very remote areas.
It could occur in Lorentz National Park, but this has not been confirmed.
