Range Description

This species is known only from the type locality, Galela, on Halmahera Island, in the Maluku Islands, Indonesia, at about 650m asl.

Habitat and Ecology

It presumably lives in rainforest, and (like other members of the genus) breeds by direct development.

It has most likely not been collected since it was first described from a single specimen, so its population status is unknown.
