This species is known only from the type locality, "Moroka [Central Province], British New Guinea [Papua New Guinea]" (Parker 1934). It is most likely a lowland species.
Habitat and Ecology
This species presumably inhabits tropical rainforest and, like other species in the genus, presumably breeds by direct development.
It has not been collected since the late 1800s, so its population status is unknown.
There is no information on threats.
The type locality is not within a protected area.
