Range Description

This species is known from the mountains of central Papua, Indonesia.

Habitat and Ecology

It inhabits lower montane rainforest and presumably breeds by direct development, like other species in the genus.


Its population status is unknown, as there are no known collections of it since it was first described.

There are no known threats to this species, which has part of its range in an protected area, affording it some level of protection.

The taxonomic status of the Idenburg River population needs to be determined in order to clarify the extent of occurrence of this species, the range of which includes Lorentz National Park.
