Description
Formerly Centrolenella antioquiences (Lynch and Duellman 1973) now a member of the genus Centrolene in the prosoblepon group with the following combination of characters: 1) vomerine dentition absent, 2) bones light green in life, 3) visceral organs and peritoneum white, 4) dorsal color is greenish yellow with many black spots unifromally distributed across the head and body, some have cream color on their shoulders, 5) snout broadly crounded when viewed dorsally and truncated when viewed laterally, 6) tympanum small, only lower 3.4 visible. Adults attain a small size; males reach 24.0-26.6mm SVL, females reach 24.6-24.9mm SVL. Head as wide as body (32.7-35.8% SVL); distance from nostril to anterior portion of eye is 53.6-63.0% diameter of the eye; diameter of eye is 35.5-42.5% length of head; diameter of tympanum is 25.8-36.7% diameter of eye.

Known from the departments of Quindío, counties of Filandia, Salento, Risaralda; found at elevations between 1900 and 2050m. Type locality at the departament of Quindío, county of Filania, vereda El Roble, Forest Reserve of Bremen, quebradas Las Cruces and La Popa, western slope of the Cordillera Central, 4° 40´ Latitude N, 75° 40´ W of Greenwich, 2000 a 2050 m.
