Range Description

This species is known only from two locations: Sorong, on the Vogelkop Peninsula, Papua (Indonesia); and Wahai on Seram Island, in the Maluku Islands, Indonesia. It is a lowland species found near sea level.

Habitat and Ecology

It has been found in a town in Seram, and presumably breeds in water.


There have been no records of this species since it was first described, so its population status is not known.
