Range Description

This species is known only from the lost holotype from the state of Bahia. No map of its range can be drawn because of the lack of specificity of the type locality. This name cannot be assigned to any known species, though Hoogmoed and Gruber (1983) speculated that it could refer to Hyla nebulosa.

Habitat and Ecology

There is no information on its habitat and ecological requirements, although it presumably breeds in water.
