Confined to the Kimberley region in the vicinity of Derby and Broome in northern Western Australia. The extent of occurrence of the species is approximately 20500 km2

Life History, Abundance, Activity, and Special Behaviors
Known from grassland at the edge of filled gravel-scrapes. Only occurs in flooded sites where there are clumps of grass and rain creates temporary pools. Breeding biology is unknown.

Trends and Threats
Few records from a remote region. Few threatening processes are believed to be acting upon the taxon. No further information can be added to the existing database.
