This species is known from the oriental slope of the Central Cordillera, in Caldas and Antioquia Departments, in Colombia, between 1,750–2,200 m asl.
Habitat and Ecology
It is a common species in the forest, along roadsides and in adjacent areas. It is active at night on low vegetation. It is an adaptable species that is also found in places such as pastureland and degraded former forest. It breeds by direct development.
It is a common species and the population is considered to be stable.
The threats to this species are unknown, although it is an adaptable species.
Its range includes the Integrated Management Regional District of Embalse el Penol y Cuenca Alta del Rio Guatape.
