Plethodon mississippi Highton, 1989

7,8 cm SVL (plaine côtière), 8,4 cm SVL (hors plaine côtière). Petite taille (sauf sur le plateau appalachien du nord de l’Alabama). Grande taches dorsales jaunâtres, flancs envahis par le blanc ou la teinte jaunâtre. Difficilement discernable morphologiquement de P. grobmani. Ouest de l’Alabama, Mississippi, sud-est de la Louisiane, ouest du Tennessee et ouest du Kentucky.
