Onychodactylus (Onychodactylus) nipponoborealis Kuro-o, Poyarkov & Vieites, 2012
Onychodactyle de Tohoku

17,1 cm (M), 15,5 cm (F). Queue du mâle moins longue que celle d'O. japonicus, mais plus que celle de tsukubaensis. Tête plus large que japonicus. 18-19 vertèbres. 12-13 sillons costaux. Mince espace présent entre les séries de dents voméro- palatines, qui sont abruptement incurvées. Bande dorsale claire, brun jaune en général, avec une moucheture sombre, aux bords peu marqués, flancs sombres.

* Parties montagneuses de la partie nord de la région de Tohoku (nord de Honshu), dans les préfectures de Yamagata, Miyagi, Akita, Iwate et Aomori, aux abords et dans de petits ruisseaux, entre 100 et 2 000 m. La population de la péninsule de Shimokita à Aomori est isolée des autres. LC.
