Range Description

This species occurs in Santuario de Fauna y Flora Guanentá Alto Río Fonce, Río Cañaverales, and along Río Luisito, Santander Department, Colombia, from 1,700-2,000m asl.

Habitat and Ecology

It occurs on vegetation next to running streams in cloud forest. The eggs are laid on the vegetation, and the larvae develop in the streams.


It was known to be common at least until 1987. Since then, no survey work has been conducted for this species.
