Range includes the southern Central Highlands and Owen Stanley Range (400–1020 m a.s.l.) from Central, Chimbu, and Gulf provinces, Papua New Guinea. Kraus suggests the species may range from sea level to 1020 m a.s.l. (Kraus 2019).
