Range Description

This species is known from the department of Santander, Colombia, where it has been recorded from 1,750-2,400m asl. Its distribution is very poorly known.

Habitat and Ecology

It inhabits cloud forest, and breeds by direct development.


It is a rare species.

Major Threats

Its habitat is under high pressure due to the cultivation of crops and the rearing of cattle.

Conservation Actions

Its range includes the Santuario de Fauna y Flora Guanentá Alto Río Fonce, and the Estación Demonstrativo El Rasgon.
