Range Description

This species is known with certainty only from Morotai Island, in the Maluku Islands, Indonesia, but probably also occurs on Salawati and Halmahera (although the specimens from these islands have been lost). Specimens from Geg Island might also belong to this species, which is presumably a lowland species.

Habitat and Ecology

It presumably lives in tropical forest and breeds by direct development.

Its population status is unknown as it has probably not been recorded since it was first discovered.
