There are only confirmed records of this species from Teresópolis, in Rio de Janeiro State in southern Brazil, at around 800m asl. It can be expected to occur more widely.
Habitat and Ecology
This is a subterranean species that has been found under bark, logs and stones in moist forest. It is likely to be oviparous, with eggs that develop directly.
