Range Description

This species is known only from the type locality in the Serra da Bocaina, São Paulo State, Brazil. The exact altitude of this locality is unknown, but it is probably at around 1,000m asl.

Habitat and Ecology

It is known from the leaf-litter of forests. The type locality has both secondary and primary forest, but it is not known in which area exactly this species was collected from. It presumably breeds by direct development, like other species in the genus.

Population

This species is only known from a few specimens, and there is no recent information on its population status.

There are no known threats to its habitat at present.

Its range is within Parque Nacional da Serra da Bocaina.
