From the IUCN Red List Species Account:   Range Description This species is known only from the type locality at 500-1,600m asl on Mount Huangshan, Anhui Province, China. Habitat and Ecology It is known from streams in forest, and is presumed to breed by larval development. Population There is no information available on the population status of this species. Population Trend Unknown Major Threats Habitat loss and degradation due to smallholder farming is the main threat to this species.
