Description
A rather small parasylvicolous Hyperolius (males 22-28 mm, females 24-29 mm). Phase J: dorsum light brown, often with darker spots sometimes forming an hourglass pattern. Dorsal colour sharply delimited against a dark, irregular lateral band. Canthal area of head is dark and a dark bar is present between the eyes with a broad apex pointing backwards. Tibia as back, but with a dark oblique band. Phase F: Dorsum dark with light spots or marbled in dark and light.
