Only collected once since discovery in 1905. Found in the Cox River on Alexandria Station in the middle of the Northern Territory. The extent of occurrence of the species is approximately 11600 km2

Life History, Abundance, Activity, and Special Behaviors
Specimen was collected from a spring-fed swamp in paperbark woodland.

Trends and Threats
Known only from type specimens and one other specimen. No other data on biology or distribution.

None known.
