Range Description
This montane species from south-eastern Brazil occurs in the states of Sao Paulo, extreme south-western Rio de Janeiro, and extreme southern Minas Gerais, from 1,500-2,500m asl.
Habitat and Ecology
It lives in high-altitude grassy fields with rocks in open areas. Breeding in this species is probably by direct development.
Population
It is not a common species.

Its only threats are likely to be the impacts of tourism and fire on its habitat.
