Range Description

This species is known only from the type locality, which is given as El Cerro de Tatama, in Choco Department, Colombia, at 4,050m asl. However, this locality is actually in Risaralda Department.

Habitat and Ecology

The habitat at the type locality is páramo. This species presumably breeds by direct development.

Population

The population status of this species is unknown, as it is known only from one specimen.

Major Threats

There are no threats to its habitat at present as it is at too high an altitude for human interest.

Conservation Actions

It occurs in Parque Nacional Natural Tatamá.
