This species is known from the Cordillera de la Costa in Venezuela, and from the Federal District, and the states of Aragua, Carabobo and Miranda. It has been recorded from 300-1,200m asl.
Habitat and Ecology
It is a nocturnal inhabitant of humid lowland forest and cloud forests. It is not known to occur in open habitats. It breeds by direct development.
It is a common species.
There are no known threats to this species at present, and its habitat is well protected.
Some populations occur within Henri Pittier, Macarao, El Avill and Guatopo National Parks.
