Habitat and Ecology
This is probably a tropical forest species that is associated with streams, in which it presumably breeds by larval development.
There is no information on the population status of this species, which was described on the basis of museum specimens collected before 1920.
The threats to this species are not known, though it is likely to be impacted by ongoing forest loss due to logging and the creation of plantations.
It is not known if the species occurs in any protected areas.
