Occurs along the coastline of the Northern Territory and northern Queensland. The extent of occurrence of the species is approximately 529000 km2.

Life History, Abundance, Activity, and Special Behaviors
Diverse habitat including flooded grassland or at the edge of swamps and billabongs. Breeding and larvae are unknown.

Trends and Threats
No known declines and large extent of occurrence.
