Eastern Coast of Australia from south-eastern Queensland to southern New South Wales. The extent of occurrence of the species is approximately 73000 km2

Life History, Abundance, Activity, and Special Behaviors
Variety of habitats, but usually wet and dry forests. Often found in trees and other vegetation overhanging permanent ponds. Spring breeder. Male call from vegetation surrounding a pond where spawn is deposited and tadpoles develop.

Trends and Threats
No known declines and extent of occurrence > 20,000km2.

Threats
Loss of habitat in south-eastern Queensland.

Conservation Measures
None in place.
